The AST Hawk FTD replicates a light twin-engine piston airplane. It is convertible to a complex single and integrates
a fully digital, generic cockpit. The FTD comes with a 180 degree wrap-around visual display, adding amazing realism to any
flight.
The AST Hawk is equipped with an instructor's station that allows the instructor to position the plane to any location,
and use any navigation information currently present in the Jeppesen U.S. database. The instructor can employ many different
scenerios to enhance teaching, including realistic weather, wind, equipment failures, even other traffic hazards.
Using the AST Hawk FTD, your ability to learn is greatly enhanced, the time you spend in training is all training, no
delays. You can practice scenarios that would never be attempted in an airplane. In short, you can master skills faster, cheaper,
in a better training environment, and with more realistic practice.
